Important Instructions & Notes
- Pick-up and Drop-off:
- Sharing Transfers: Pick-up and drop-off will be from your hotel/residence in Dubai on a shared basis with other guests. Please be ready in your hotel lobby at least 15 minutes prior to your confirmed pick-up time. Shared transfers operate on a fixed schedule and route; minor delays can occur due to traffic conditions or other pick-ups.
- Private Transfers: Pick-up and drop-off will be directly from your specified hotel/residence in Dubai by a private vehicle. Please be ready at your hotel lobby at the confirmed pick-up time.
- Your exact pick-up time will be confirmed with your booking.
- Boarding Time: Please ensure you are ready for your transfer or arrive at the dhow cruise boarding point at least 30-45 minutes prior to the cruise departure time. This allows for smooth check-in and boarding procedures. Dhows typically depart on time, and missed cruises due to late arrival are non-refundable.
- Meeting Point (if self-arriving): Your exact boarding point details at Dubai Marina will be provided in your booking confirmation.
- Identification: It is advisable to carry a valid original photo ID (Passport for tourists, Emirates ID for residents) for check-in purposes, as required by local regulations.
- Dress Code: Smart casual attire is recommended for the Dhow Cruise. While there isn’t a strict formal dress code, modest clothing is appreciated. Avoid beachwear or overly revealing outfits. You may want to bring a light shawl or jacket, especially during cooler months (Oct-Apr), as the open upper deck can get breezy.
- Seating: Seating is typically on a first-come, first-served basis for shared cruises. You will have access to both the lower air-conditioned deck and the open-air upper deck.
- Children Policy: Children are welcome on the cruise. Specific pricing for children may apply based on age (e.g., under 3 often free, child rate for 3-10 years, adult rate for 10+). Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
- Entertainment: The Tanoura Dance performance is a highlight. Please note that during religious occasions or dry days announced by the UAE government, live entertainment (including Tanoura Dance) and the serving of alcoholic beverages (if applicable) may be restricted without prior notice.
- Cruise Route: The cruise route covers the main sights of Dubai Marina. The exact route may vary slightly based on weather conditions or operational requirements.
- Weather Conditions: Cruises operate subject to safe weather conditions as per Coast Guard regulations. In rare instances of adverse weather, the cruise may be rescheduled or cancelled. In such cases, you will be offered an alternative date or a refund.
